How to define high quality silk fabric?

❇️ Is it easy to produce silk fabrics for womenswear brands?
Just dye or print on silk fabrics, then you will get what you want? Not really. 🙆‍♂️

1️⃣ Silk fiber is fragile, 👩‍💼 we always need do tear resistance test of weft side of silk fabric to make sure the quality & the silk fabrics could perform great on garments manufacturing and casual wears.

2️⃣ Shrinkage rate: Well-finished solid color & printed silk fabrics could reach lower than 3% shrinkage rate after water washings (GB/T 8628-8630). 👨‍🔬

3️⃣ PH: 4.0-7.5. 🧑‍🎨

4️⃣ Mention your testing requirements before dyeing or printing, even if making lab dips, our factories will follow and choose right dyeing or print ways and the cost will vary from as well. 👩‍💻

5️⃣ Follow care label, wash in cold water, hand wash or approved machine washing, and nice drying methods... 💇

✅ At last please sample first, then approve and go manufacturing bulk order after the sample passed the required testing, this will reduce the production risk to the lowest. 🏃‍♂️‍➡️
